Our goal is to provide counseling, emotional support, spiritual guidance and practical assistance to women who find themselves in an unplanned pregnancy. We believe that every child is a miracle from God and deserves a chance to live. Therefore, we offer alternatives to abortion, counseling and support. We know that bringing a new life into this world is not without difficulties. We attempt to refer women to the appropriate services available to meet their individual needs. For those wishing to explore adoption, we are a licensed agency and can provide the proper counseling and opportunities to select a family for your child. Our prayer is that each woman would find an opportunity to transform her crisis into victory.

  • Pregnancy Tests
We offer free pregnancy tests performed by a Registered Nurse and can provide the Verification of Pregnancy needed when applying for Medicaid.  We have registered nurses trained to perform basic limited ultrasound to assist in confirming pregnancy and determining how far along the pregnancy is.  Please call for an appointment.
  • Birthparent Support Group
When:  The first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.
  • Where: New Life (Houston office)
  • Purpose:  To give opportunities to women in unplanned pregnancies to explore their options and find the support they need.
  • Who may attend:  You may bring support persons with you, such as mom, friends, or boyfriend.
  • Adoption Options
Choosing the family you want to place your baby with is an option for a birthparent who is considering adoption. New Life adoptive families are born-again Christians who are active members in a church of varying denominations. New Life takes seriously the responsibility to assure birthparents that their babies will be raised in a Christian home.  After choosing the family, you may meet them before the baby is born so you can get to know them better.  We believe it is very important for the birth family to continue to have a connection to the adoptive family and the child.  This happens through contact in letters and visits throughout the years.
  • A Place To Stay
Assistance in finding living arrangements is available. Referral to a maternity home, shepherding homes, or various other options can all be explored. Shepherding homes are families who have volunteered to have a pregnant woman live in their home during the duration of her pregnancy. Please see the Assistance tab above for more information.
